It’s getting to the point where I’ve discussed starting a section on this blog called “What Holly Math Nerd Said This Week And Why It’s Fucking Genius.” Just assume going forward that if Holly said it, I almost certainly think it’s worth taking into consideration.
Having said that, this post is one of her absolute best. I advise readers with almost-college-age kids to bookmark and use. I agree with it in its entirety, and it’s immediately actionable information.
My favorite poets include T. S. Eliot, Lawrence Raab, and Joseph Massey, who writes Dispatches From the Basement. His poetry is balm for the soul.
I’ve boosted Tatiana Gaillardo of Brazenface before and probably will again. Her stories and multimedia essays make me happy.
Vae Victis returns to Rollins’s Review with one of the most impressively useful posts I’ve seen in ages, anywhere. It’s about how to learn things, a topic so near and dear to my heart I will probably write about it soon.
Luc Koch of LucTalks has written a fascinating challenge to the experiments of Benjamin Libet, who devised a process by which free will can be measured. Luc is a thoughtful, intelligent man with whom I’ve been privileged to have had the opportunity to talk philosophy.
"Rollins's Review is my weekly destination for finding new and interesting stacks to follow."

Aw, Jay, thank you so much for featuring Brazenface here. This brightened my evening!
